• 4 salmon steaks or fillets
  • 2 T Tamari or soy sauce
  • Marinade: 2 T fresh lemon juice
  • 1 t dried lavender
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 5 large fresh basil leaves, chopped

Combine all marinade ingredients. Place salmon on hot, lightly oiled grill, skin side down. Baste frequently with marinade. When salmon is done, baste with remaining marinade.
